Room was nice but did show wear. We stayed in a jacuzzi suite. Staff was super. And breakfast was ok. There was a hot buffet for breakfast.
It was nice water was clean and warm. Room was nice and clean. Staff was awesome and Friendly. I stay here every year. I was showing its age last year but they are repainting and it looks awesome. We had a blast. Thank you!! The only 2 things I can complain about are. You can't have single tubs in lazy river only bubbles. The breakfast it cost $7.99 and the food was awful. I wish they would let someone come in an cook better food.
Stayed there a week ago and had great fun with the daughter and grandchild. I'd read the reviews and was not sure what to expect. Stayed in the Tower to avoid going outside in the cold. Room was clean and as promised, grand daughter loved the bunk beds. Shower was hot. One of the water park "rides" was not working, the Lazy River. That was unfortunate from an adult perspective. Granddaughter was too short (42" minimum" for the slides so all adults could do is follow her into the pools for very short people or into the big pool. Water in the big pool was warm, in the small pools not so much. We did not eat here. We played some arcade games that were fun, pretty much old school but fun nonetheless. Staff was helpful, almost all of the lifeguards were very attentive. I have no complaints, people at the check in desk were helpful as well.
Our family stayed in the side motel, which is just a standard motel room. Nothing special (certainly not a "resort"). But we didn't stay for the room, but rather the waterpark. That's obviously the highlight of this place and was fantastic!!! Life guards are super young but highly professional...no doubt about it! The 2 slides are fun and kids went over and over. The lazy river pool was much warmer than other pools and surprisingly fun. All staff we met were very polite and helpful. Think the place was a bit dimly lit for some reason. The food isn't the best, but again, not coming for the food. Location not too bad either. Certainly recommend!
My son and grandkids stayed here, they had it all to themselves. Under new ownership. Large rooms, bunkers with secure wooden rails. Huge, nice indoor and outdoor waterpark.
Simple and clean place to stay. Waterpark was enjoyable and relaxing.
This was my family's second year staying here for New Year's. The room was clean, however we had to have the maintenance man come within the first 5 minutes of arriving due to the sink being backed up and the handles on the sink broken. He was pleasant and fixed the problem immediately. They had a breakfast buffet that was included in our package. All of the hot items were cold & they said that they ran out of milk just before we arrived. Therefore, having cold cereal as an option was almost comical. I would suggest offering juice as a beverage included in the breakfast buffet. We were told that only water and coffee were included. The water park was very clean and the lifeguards all very friendly and attentive. The food included for the New Year's Eve party was great. Another suggestion, maybe consider moving the location of the photo booth, as those who attended the New Year's party had no idea that a photo booth was even available. The people running the photo booth said that they only had a few people stop by. The DJ was awesome. The only downfall to the party itself was the entry process. Since this event was open to the public, there was a very long line to enter the water park area. In my opinion, guests staying at the hotel should be allowed to enter before those arriving from the outside. During our stay, there were two females working the front desk. One of them was extremely friendly and the other had an attitude the entire time. Our room was located near a stairwell (leading outside). The staff kept the stairwell door propped open with a large rock, making it extremely cold. I am assuming this was done to make it easier for them to smoke, as they all reaked of cigarette and marijuana smoke. In conclusion, if you have younger kids and are looking for a cheaper location with nice amenities, this is a great option.
We stayed here in Lake George with a group of 20–30 people and had a great experience! The place was clean and comfortable, and the owners were incredibly kind and hospitable. Highly recommend!
